CJKOS

To show Japanese Language, J-OS is not the only way to make it.
There are several ways to Japanize, CJKOS is the one of the famous application to localize.
CJKOS can show not only Japanese language, it can show Chinese, Korean language.
(but it cannot show these 3 languages in one screen.)
Just download from the website,
There are screen for setting but for the first-time user, it looks to be complicated.
Of course, it has manual, but I will introduce my treo600 settings to show Japanese as below.

CJKOS can run almost any palm devises.
But for Japanese users, there are 2 poor points.
1:CJKOS can show you any types of Japanese, but you cannot input Kanji with CJKOS software-keyboard. It can supprt inpout Hiragana, Katakata only. (So that is why, no check on Enable CJK Keyboard,)
2:CJKOS pre-installed Japanes fonts looks no good.Thickness of the letter is not same for each letters.
To improve these 2 weak points,
1:You can use other IME application instead of CJKOS's.(e.g. J-OS IME, PoBox, ATOK etc.)
2:You can use other type of Japanese fonts from this website.
As a result, you can read Japanese with your non Japanese version of palm devices.

Comments
Dear SARUZO-san,
I reached here from "siam_breez" site. Please allow me to have some basic question for treo 650.
I bought treo 650 today, and tried to install J-OS thru Power Book using with 'missing sync'. When I activate J-OS after I installed all necessary files to treo, treo re-started, and I couldn't stop it, meaning it's continuously re-starting. I removed battery, and put it back, but symptom remain same.
I have totally no idea what was wrong. If you have any clue to solve this problem, kindly advise me.
I thank you in advance for your kind attention.

SARUZOU-san,
I found the technical support phone number of Palm in Singapore, and have known how to do HARD RESET. It's come back initial setting any how. I will take my time to get use to my treo.
Your site is very useful and helpful for me. I'll keep on watching on your site.

Not much on my mind lately, but that's how it is. My life's been dull these days, but such is life. I haven't been up to much recently.

I can't be bothered with anything lately. Such is life. Basically nothing seems worth thinking about. I've just been staying at home not getting anything done. I haven't been up to anything today, but oh well. I haven't gotten much done lately.
